Our new client is out of this world

One small step for man. One giant step for Whiskey Design and Mid-America Precision Products. We're thrilled to announce that Whiskey Design has been hired by Mid-America Precision Product (MAPP) to help the aerospaceand marine manufacturer blast off with a complete rebrand.

“We couldn’t be more excited to work with a company that has such a rich history. They’ve earned a brand that’s the envy of the industry, and we can’t wait to deliver.” said Whiskey Design Owner and Creative Director Matt Wegerer. “Growing up around military jets like the F-4 Phantom and F-16 Falcon, and having watched way too much of Tom Hank’s Apollo 13 growing up – working with a company that has been on the leading edge of some of these same technologies is a bit of a dream.”

Mid-America Precision Products was founded in the early 1950’s and specializes in the custom machining of precision parts, sheet metal, finishing and total contract assembly for a wide customer base. A large portion of their work supports various branches of the U.S. military, as well as government-backed space exploration.

“You might not think of Joplin when you think about America’s journey to space, but we’ve been there since day one,” says Luis Coreano, CEO of MAPP. “We made parts that helped keep Neil Armstrong alive when he first stepped on the moon in 1969. MAPP hasdesigned and manufactured equipment for the new Orion spacecraft that’s going to be taking humans to Mars in 2030 and for the US NAVY Nuclear Fleet. MAPP is also in the process of manufacturing jet engine components that power the most advance aircraft in the industry. I’m excited about partnering with Whiskey Design to position MAPP’s brand as an industry leader. I know Whiskey Design is an agency tough enough to handle our high quality standards. We chose Whiskey for their ability to create stand-out brands, their storytelling, and their attention to every last detail. That’s how we build our parts, and that’s why we believe in this partnership.”

As part of the floor-to-ceiling rebrand, Whiskey Design will develop a new brand position, identity, brand standards, website, sale materials, collateral, and help redesign of the company headquarters.
